This work beautifully depicts Simmon’s reef, an area just to the north of the main point break at Windansea.

Because of the bathimetry (sea floor construction) of this spot, it breaks only rarely, yet creates very large waves of a perfect size and shape.

Only the most experienced and intrepid surfers will attempt this ride, while those of lesser ability are content to watch!
